Elk Hunt 2007

Brian, Bryce, my dad and I have all been hunting elk in northern New Mexico by Raton for the last several days. As you can see from the pictures below we got a lot of snow while we were there. We saw a lot of buffalo, deer, turkey, antelope, bull elk and even some bald eagles on our trip.

This photo is my dad and I with his cow elk. We were lucky enough to shoot this one right out of the truck. He shot it about 60 yards away.

The photo below is of Bryce with his cow elk. Unfortunately, this one we had to work for. He shot it at about 360 yards away. Because of the heavy snow, we couldn't get the truck in there to get it, which meant we had to drag it a little over 600 yards to the truck.

Here is Brian with his first cow elk. He shot it twice at about 410 yards!
