Whack em and Stack em

After stuffing myself with Turkey on Thanksgiving I headed out to go deer hunting on Friday. We didn't see anything but does and a couple of spikes Friday night. On Saturday morning, we were sitting in a pop up blind 150 yards up the road from a feeder and four bucks came out to eat. After about fifteen minutes the buck pictured below with Bryce stepped out and he busted him with his 7 mag.

On Sunday morning we were at a different spot, but just had 5 does feeding about 100 yards from us. We watched the does for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then, Bryce started rattling and the buck pictured below with me came out from behind some trees to see what was going on. After checking him out real good I lit him up with my Sako. He ran about 50 yards and was done. I might whack a doe or something still but deer season is basically done for this year. Our annual elk hunt is up next, happening sometime in January.
